Yes, she’s here! She’s ready!

My very first print created from my very own handmade watercolour paints. I have spent moments in the field set up with this piece, adding so many tiny details, and have fallen in love with the earth pigments moving around the page. My face has been 2cm from this piece in an absolute fixation of experimental ratios and water mixtures doing their thanggg on the page!

And so, she can now be yours! For wherever you take her to call home, this makes my heart beam every time I imagine one of my pieces entering someone’s nest, simply surreal!

Golden Floor got her name as I imagined the Autumn floor, where the trees leave behind their treasures they no longer need to carry, the floor changes colour to match the dried leaves from the Summer behind us. A floor filled with nature’s gold, right beneath our feet.

My gosh, the excitement and love around these crazy little disco critters has been absolutely phenomenal, and I truly cannot thank you all enough. Whether you’ve just stumbled across this website or you’ve been following along for a while, your support has meant the world to me. Disco Bugs has been such a beautiful journey.

She’s been worked on in many locations rolled up, unrolled, and chipped away at in moments where I sometimes had only five spare minutes in the morning, or five full hours locked deep into the creative zone. She’s brought me questions, brought me trust in my entire Nashy process, and I truly believe this piece has been the perfect segue into believing that my wild inner world has something meaningful to offer.

These prints are created locally by Nathan Wills at Veracity Art Reproduction. My original piece is professionally photographed and printed on the highest-quality materials I can find in the South West of Western Australia. Honestly, Nathan creates prints that are IDENTICAL to my originals, and I’ve never strayed from his services.

The Disco Bugs original features a blend of high-quality watercolour paints alongside my own handmade watercolour pigment paints including my very first trial of metallic colours. The original has all the glitter, the glory, and those tiny details that catch the light in ways that made my heart and eyes SO happy.

Your prints will capture all of this detail, however metallic effects can’t be reproduced through printing alone. But what you can have is this: for the first time, my prints will come with the option to be hand-embellished by me, EEEEEE!. Each piece can be metallically detailed using metallic paints and pen, giving it that glittery sparkle just like the original. This means your artwork will be truly one of a kind each piece will have its own unique glittery punch, different from the next.

The final copies are now available, as well as the original of my very first part to the disco collection and my very first showcased piece, which started it all! Meet Follow The Call Of The Disco Ball. The piece that I could never put down, but never one I could feel finished with, until after almost eight months, when I was ready to call her ‘complete’.

This prints first release SOLD OUT, and these are the last remaining copies I have on hand that were previously kept for a venue showcase, and now they can be yours. I am SO honoured to have had this piece already make its way into some amazing homes and it just truly warms my heart to see you love it just as much as I do.
